The Naples workshop provided an open and informal forum for Italian researchers focused on the subject, addressing three key engineering aspects: PREDICTION of liquefaction onset, estimation of EFFECTS on built environments, and the effectiveness of MITIGATION measures. The goal was to share achieved results and to encourage future multidisciplinary national cooperation, with the prospect of also contributing to a revision of the Italian normative indications, with a view to contributing to a revision of Italian regulatory guidelines, considering both the methodological direction provided by the new version of EC8 and the latest scientific research advancements.
